2019 Intellectual Property Workshop
for Advanced Battery Technology

For the third straight year, NAATBatt International will offer a special workshop on intellectual property issues relating to advanced battery technology.  The workshop will be co-located with NAATBatt 2019 and held on the first half day of the meeting, from 8:00 to Noon on Tuesday, March 12.  You may register to attend just the workshop or register to attend both the workshop and the full NAATBatt 2019 annual meeting program.

The IP workshop is intended for attorneys and IP professionals who have a basic working knowledge of intellectual property law.  Entrepreneurs and executives who deal with intellectual property issues in the field of advanced battery technology are also highly advised to attend.  A networking lunch for workshop speakers and attendees only will follow the conclusion of the workshop.  CLE credit for attorneys may be available.  Please contact [email protected] for details.

Ongoing innovation and inventions reshape the field of advanced battery technology almost every day.  Success in commercializing those innovations turns in large part on using intellectual property law, both in the United States and abroad, to protect those innovations from unfair competition.

Advanced battery technology poses a number of unique challenges for IP practitioners.  A solid understanding of how battery and automotive companies are using intellectual property to build and protect their market positions is essential to developing a successful go-to-market strategy for advanced battery technology.
